- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Anytime Goalscorer
- A bet on a specific player scoring at any point during the match.
- Asian Handicap
- A type of bet that gives a virtual advantage or disadvantage to a team to level the playing field, eliminating the draw outcome.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of setting and sticking to a budget for betting activities.
- Bet Builder
- A feature allowing you to combine multiple markets from the same match into one wager.
- Bet Slip
- The electronic record that lists your selected bets and the potential payout.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The built-in advantage a bookmaker includes in odds, ensuring profit regardless of outcome.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- An option to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Correct Score
- A wager predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Dead Heat
- A tie outcome where multiple selections are declared winners; the payout is split proportionally.
- Decimal Odds
- A way to express odds as a single number that includes the stake; the payout is odds multiplied by the stake.
- Double Chance
- A bet covering two of the three possible outcomes (win, draw, win) in a match.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that removes the draw outcome; you win if your team wins, and get your stake back if it’s a draw.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in a match.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction; the numerator shows profit relative to the denominator (stake).
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit that can be used to place a bet, with any winnings returned but not the free bet stake.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that requires predicting both the halftime result and the final result.
- In-Play
- Bets placed after a match has started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Non-Runner
- A selection in a bet that is withdrawn before the event, often resulting in reduced odds or void.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be more or less than a set number.
- Rule 4
- A deduction applied to winning bets when a horse or team is withdrawn after the bet was placed, reducing the payout.
- Stake
- The amount of money you wager on a bet.
- Value Bet
- A wager where the odds offered are higher than the true probability suggests, giving an edge.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is cancelled and the stake is refunded, usually due to a match being postponed or a rule breach.
